ZACHRY-ODEBRECHT PARKWAY BUILDERS CONTINUES WORK ON GRAND PARKWAY
Weekend closures scheduled for I-45 North as crews progress with construction

Construction has moved at a rapid pace for Grand Parkway Segments F-1, F-2 and G. Zachry-Odebrecht has completed substructure work along a portion of the future I-45 N interchange and will begin super-structure work on the northbound mainlanes of the Grand Parkway. As part of the super-structure work, crews are scheduled to set over thirty beams this weekend.

In order to safely set the beams, work crews will implement a total closure of the northbound I-45 N frontage road from FM 2920 to Spring Crossing nightly from 8 pm to 1 pm beginning Friday, September 19 through Sunday, September 21. In addition, three northbound left mainlanes will be closed from FM 2920 to Spring Stuebner beginning 8 pm Friday, September 19 to 1 pm Saturday, September 20 as well as three southbound left lanes at Spring Crossing from 5 am to 1 pm on Sunday, September 21.

Motorists traveling on the northbound frontage road will be detoured to Spring Stuebner West then to the southbound frontage road to the Louetta turnaround to the I-45 mainlanes. Law enforcement will be onsite to help ensure the safety of motorists and help maintain traffic. To view all lane closures for the Grand Parkway Segments F-G, visit the Getting Around section of www.grandparkway99.com and follow us on Twitter@sh99fg.

Scheduled lane closures are subject to change.
