Harris County Commissioners Court approved a plan today that will notify crime victims when the accused in their cases are to be released on bail or appear in court. “This is a major victory for all crime victims in Harris County,” said County Judge Robert Eckels. “Victims will now have the ability to track their perpetrators, which will make them feel safer and be safer.” |
