Upcoming Katy Freeway Program Closures

Friday, Aug 1st, 2008

Below is an updated list of the scheduled closures associated with the Katy Freeway Reconstruction Program as of Friday, August 1, 2008.

CONTRACT D (I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE) CLOSURES

. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between WILCREST and BELTWAY 8 nightly Monday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 5 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 eastbound frontage road.

. There will be a TOTAL CLOSURE of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between GESSNER and BELTWAY 8 nightly Wednesday, August 6 and Thursday, August 7 from 9 PM to 5 AM. Detour to the I-10 westbound frontage road.

CONTRACTS E1 & E2 (BETWEEN BELTWAY 8 and I-610) CLOSURES

. Two inside lanes of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY eastbound mainlanes between BELTWAY 8 and BINGLE/VOSS RD. will be closed beginning 9 PM, Friday, August 1 through 5 AM, Sunday, August 3. One lane will remain open.

CONTRACT G (I-610 to west of WASHINGTON) CLOSURES

. One outside lane of the I-10/KATY FREEWAY westbound mainlanes between WASHINGTON AVE./WESTCOTT ST. and I-610/WEST LOOP will be closed Saturday, August 2 from 6 AM to 6 PM.
