Total Closure of BW8 at I-10 This Weekend

TXDOT CONTRACTOR CONTINUES DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES AT
I-10/BELTWAY 8 INTERCHANGE THIS WEEKEND

(Houston) This weekend, beginning 10 PM, Friday, May 23 until 5 AM, Monday, May 26, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) contractor, Williams Brothers Construction, will close the northbound and southbound mainlanes of Beltway 8 between Memorial and Westview to continue demolition activities in the area. Motorists will be detoured to the respective frontage roads and law enforcement will be stationed throughout the area to facilitate the movement of traffic.

Motorists are reminded to expect multiple total and alternate lane closures and should be prepared for traffic delays when traveling in the vicinity of the I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange. Please note that all closures are subject to change due to inclement weather.
