MODIFICATION TO SCHEDULED CLOSURES OF I-10/KATY FREEWAY EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND BETWEEN GESSNER AND WILCREST
(Houston) – The previously advertised nightly total closures of I-10/Katy Freeway eastbound and westbound between Gessner and Wilcrest and the associated closures for tonight, June 14 thru Sunday, June 17 from 10 PM to 5AM have been cancelled. To enhance safety precautions for the motorists and construction workers in the vicinity of the I-10/Beltway 8 Interchange the contractor has modified the work plan. The closures (see below) are now scheduled to happen from 10 PM, Saturday, June 16 until 5 AM, Monday, June 18. Please accept our apology for any inconveniences caused by the scheduling changes.

WHAT:
Total Closure of the I-10/Katy Freeway Eastbound and Westbound Mainlanes between Wilcrest and Gessner. Detour to the I-10 eastbound and westbound frontage roads.
Total Closure of the I-10/Katy Freeway Westbound Direct Connectors to northbound and southbound Beltway 8-West. Detour to I-10 westbound frontage road to Beltway 8 northbound or southbound.
Total Closure of the Beltway 8-West Northbound frontage road between Queensbury and I-10/Katy Freeway and the Beltway 8-West northbound flyover bridge. Detour to Town & Country Lane, to Town & Country Blvd., to I-10 eastbound.
Total Closure of the Beltway 8-West Southbound frontage road between Westview and I-10/Katy Freeway and the Beltway 8-West southbound flyover bridge. Detour to Westview westbound, to Brittmoore southbound, to I-10 westbound.
